Multiple exposure at 10-minute intervals showing the progression of the lunar eclipse as seen from Kansas City ... shortly before it was totally eclipsed by the clouds. ARGH!!!
Looking east from Kansas City, I struggled to try to find the full moon through the haze ... no luck. Then I turned around to see this in the western sky for a few fleeting minutes.
Canada geese fly in front of the rising moon north of Kansas City, MO. The super blue moon of Jan. 31 will also see an eclipse shortly before the moon sets.
